CELEBRATE GREATER DES MOINES (DSM) FOR 515 DAY ON Wedneday, MAY 15, 2024

515 Day is a way to show support and pride for the 515 area of Greater Des Moines. There will be volunteer projects, people visiting small businesses and more. The Drake Neighborhood Association will be partnering with Drake Athletics to complete the planting of flowers on the Kingman Boulevards from 25th to 31st Street. We welcome all to come help us. Many hands make light work! The DNA is a 501c(4), so ask your work if there is Volunteer Time Off (VTO) that you can use for this community-building day.

515 Day is a community-wide effort built to encourage residents and guests to visit and support small businesses, artists, coffee shops, restaurants and more to uplift our region and support our local community.  

We will meet on 28th and Kingman to get supplies and divide into teams. There will be instructions for each team. The DNA will have coffee, water, and snacks to keep you motivated. The project will be from 9am - 12pm. Register to join!
