Drake Athletics spends May 15 volunteering with local community organizations as part of '515 Day' in Des Moines. With the date of 5/15 matching Des Moines area code of 515, the Bulldogs seek to give back to Des Moines in any way possible. The entire Drake athletic staff of more than 80 people fan out across Des Moines to volunteer.

"My hope is that this will become and annual event and way for us to give back to our great community," said Drake director of athletics Brian Hardin.
